Community is the heartbeat of education. We design programs that treat it like one.
We get to know our communities—and work together to surface their genuine needs—before we start designing. All of our programs are grounded in evidence of what works, but we do more than tailor what has worked in other places to our communities. We design programs for each community, weaving what has worked elsewhere with the unique strengths of each environment. In doing so, we are able to create durable partnerships between community stakeholders, and connect our students to the world through educational programs that serve their individual needs.

Hannah Erickson is a person who cares deeply about human beings, and in particular those who live in disadvantaged conditions. Her profound interest in finding ways for people to flourish as whole women and men, and the ways in which she connects that drive to develop with freedom and education, gives me great hope for all those who will be touched by her work.
